Art in Nacka

Several of the pioneers of Swedish modernism moved to Saltsjöbaden and stories of their lives form part of the history of the area.
In Saltsjö-Duvnäs, five artists who worked as critics in the 1950s
joined together to create the 'Saltsjö-Duvnäskretsen' (the Saltsjö-
Duvnäs circle). There are a large number of public works of art on
display at Sicklaön.
In Nacka Strand there are several sculptures including ‘Gud
fader på himmelsbågen’ (God Our Father on the Rainbow) by Carl
