Grünewaldvillan


For those looking for an unusual, cultural setting for courses and daytime conferences, Grünewaldvillan is an excellent alternative. The villa is uniquely situated 300 metres from the beach, with an enchanting view overlooking Baggensfjärden. Today the villa, which was designed in 1893, has, in addition to the gallery which is 100m²  in area, a kitchen and seven rooms of varying sizes. Over the years, christenings, memorial services, family gatherings, guided tours for art clubs, kick-offs and meetings of clubs & societies have been held here. Grünewaldvillan inherited its name and cultural atmosphere from the artist, Isaac Grünewald, who acquired the house in the 1930s.

From Slussen take bus 422, 445, or 492 to Kihlsgård, followed by a walk of approximately 1.7 km.
From Stockholm: Take Värmdövägen, road 222, towards Värmdö/ Gustavsberg. Turn off towards Norra Lagnö, Skevik, Insjön. After that, follow the signs to Insjön and Velamsund. Drive along the Velamsund road as far as you can until you come to the large car park.

Stiftsgården Graninge

  
Graninge Stiftsgård, situated in the inner archipelago, was built as a summer house in 1909 by the architect Fredinand Broberg. As well as conference facilities there is every possibility to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, a marvellous view overlooking Baggensfjärden, and our exquisite kitchen.
Graninge was renovated and extended during the years 1995-1997 and we are now ready to receive our guests in fresh-looking single and double rooms, most of them with a view overlooking Baggensfjärden.
It is apparent that the main trustee of the estate is the Church of Sweden. Bells ring daily for morning and evening prayers. Each Sunday a service is held for estate guests. Finding a parking space is a simple matter compared to Stockholm. If you are travelling by hired coach, you will be in the Old Town in 20 minutes.

Telegraf – Restaurang Bar


Telegraf, the all year round summer restaurant, is one of the nearest archipelago restaurants to Stockholm – right on the beach at the sea-approach to Stockholm. A self-assured menu in a thoughtful milieu is presented by one of the most pleasant restauranteurs in the area.
Business lunch and á la carte each day from 11.00am. On Mondays - Thursdays we close at 3pm.
On Fridays and Saturdays we are open until 10.00pm for those of you who wish to enjoy a relaxing or a festive evening; enjoy one another's company, with candles, good food and good wines.
On Sundays we serve BRUNCH from 12.00 noon – 6pm. We have room for only 60 guests in the restaurant so we recommend that you always book a table.
From the last week in April up to and including the first week in September we are open on weekdays from 11.00am – 10.00pm and at the weekend from 12.00 noon – 10.00pm.
In the loft of the old oil depot we can offer 400m² of unique party, conference or exhibition rooms. The party room is approved for 350 persons seated, and is always open when it suits you.

Tollare Folkhögskola
Tollare is an old country estate that has been a folk high school for almost 50 years. The establishment is situated next to Skurusundet, 10 km east of Stockholm. Being close to nature it is quiet and peaceful.
Surrounding the manor house are the living quarters, dining room and school buildings.
There is a skittle alley, an obstacle course, a marina, a football pitch and a jogging track.
Tollare is a popular centre for courses and conferences, renowned for its good food, personal service and reasonable prices. We have plenty of space in our beautiful buildings, where there are conference rooms, group rooms, classrooms and a computer room.
The newly-renovated rooms in the boarding school are modern and comfortable; all of them have a shower/toilet, and access to a kitchenette. Some of the rooms are adapted for the disabled.

Tornvillan
 
This wonderful summer house is situated down by the water, opposite Djurgården, by Nacka Strand. It is a house that has aroused curiosity in everyone who has passed through the seaway. It was built by master builder, Erik Fredlundh who became rich through the development of Valhallavägen. At that time it was a private summer house 1,700 m² in area, although it was never used by the master builder himself.
The list of tenants includes such famous Stockholm families as Hirsch, Pauli and Knochenhauser, and also the colourful American minister in Stockholm, W.H. Thomas, who is said to have introduced grouse shooting and who bought islands and donated them to the archipelago foundation.
The house has recently been renovated and has become an exclusive meeting place with assembly rooms for special occasions. The atmosphere has been preserved and there is a sense of a lost time.
We keep up Swedish traditions with regards to celebrations and food. Suitable for board meetings, meetings of executive groups for a maximum of 20 persons, or for parties and weddings up to 87 persons.
There are tiled stoves, a drinks veranda, stucco work, our own landing-stage, and a wine cellar. We are 10 minutes from the city centre by car, bus or boat. For those who have (nearly) done it all!
